Love, A Person Who Enjoys Many A Privilege

p.s. I’ve said this before but BEING CALLED OUT IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO LEARN, not an opportunity for us to freak out and keep the focus of the conversation on us, the privileged. We are ALWAYS the focus of the conversation. That’s, you know, privilege in action.

p.p.s. Yes, being called out can hurt on a personal level. Is that hurt worse than the lived experiences of someone experiencing systemic oppression? FUCK NO. NOT EVER.
